You have now entered the invigorating, unparalleled, mostly insane universe of re.boot (our audacious forced time-off program), and all the good stuff that comes before, during and after it. Stay tuned for the re.boot experiences, inspirations, songs and stories we love shouting about.
Meanwhile, if you’d like to join our growing community of re.booters (by the time you finish this page, you’d be seriously considering it),
let’s get chatting.
P.S.: Here’s a peek at when re.boot
in the press.
PRO TIP: To fully enjoy the journey and evolution of re.boot, read these posts from the bottom up.
How do you document 34 people indulging in 216 hours of untamed re.boot across the country?
You don’t. Not in a way that can do justice to the sheer outrageousness of it all.
Even with all the buzz we created leading up to the big re.boot, everyone was lingering in the ‘is this really happening?’ zone
too good to be true
feeling). Right up to the final day, some of our folks were waiting for the
to be casually revealed over a zoom call. Until, that is, Amit (our CEO) got on the last All-Hands of 2020 and said, “Alright guys, shutters down, Slack off, see you next year.” In that moment, it became ‘gaping-jaw’ real.
And so it began.
Bringing in 2021 had to be cathartic: it had to give a well-sanitized finger to all the nastiness wreaked by its evil big brother, 2020. We’d been given the perfect (and paid!) opportunity to do just that. We went all out. We travelled, explored, went off the grid, cooked, made music, danced all night, meditated, gathered with old friends, toasted a few dozen birthdays, weddings and reunions, and came back with bagfuls of unforgettable.
Here are a few tiny glimpses of our big re.boot (in decreasing order of our editor’s sanity).
Make room for re.boot XXL.
The good news is that we’ve gone through 5 re.boots, and it looks like our folks are loving the hell out of it.
The bigger news is that our biggest re.boot yet is here, and we can barely contain our excitement!
From 26th Dec to 3rd Jan, we’re getting a forced break of 9 days to bring in the new year.
Loads of pandemic-proof plans are brewing in 34 brains across 18 pincodes. From remote villages
to bustling metros, sunny beaches to chilly Himalayas, and even a quarantined island,
all kinds of destinations have been mapped. Those who aren’t traveling have their learning
wish-lists out: flutes, guitars, ink-pens and handpans, among others. Come 2021, we promise
there’ll be lots more stories to share, once we’re back and raring to go. ;)
Our very first re.boot was a pilot to beat all pilots. Never had we seen a program so unanimously
cheered and applauded. While the world was still grappling with the big-ass question marks thrown up
by the pandemic, 30 of us were making the most of our mandatory forced long weekend, testing recipes,
finishing books, learning skills, and taking time out for what we love doing. We can’t travel yet, sure.
But who says a journey needs a destination?
